A lovely dog friendly cottage in Lyndhurst, the heart of the New Forest
Apple Cottage is a well appointed victorian property. The wood floors, quality furniture, luxury towels / bedding, dolce gusto coffee machine and flat screen TV are just some of the features that give the cottage a modern and very comfortable feel.
A new holiday let for Summer 2020, Apple Cottage boasts: 3 bedrooms (one downstairs), each with its own individual style and oversized bedding; a light and airy lounge / dining room with a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings and a modern kitchen with a full range of integrated appliances
There is also a downstairs toilet, utility area and boot room – ideal for storing those walking shoes, buggies and other holiday essentials.
Outside there is a fully enclosed sunny patio, a shed for bike storage and the essential off road parking space.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Apple Cottage, after all it would be a shame for them to miss out on the fabulous long walks that on the doorstep!
Lounge
Relax in the modern, comfortable lounge area. There is a flat screen tv with Freeview channels as well as the option to connect to any of your personal viewing channels such amazon prime, Netflix etc. There is also a blue tooth speaker for playing your music.
A wood burning stove provides a focal point on winter evenings and a selection of books and board games are available for guests to use.
Dining Area
Adjacent to the sitting area, the dinning table is a generous size and can seat six guests with ease.
Kitchen
The kitchen contains everything that you need on the occasions when you don’t want to enjoy one of the many restaurants or coffee shops that are close at hand.
Appliances include a full sized fridge freezer, integrated oven and electric hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave toaster, kettle and iron, to name a few.
There is also a separate utility area housing a washing machine and tumble drier.
Bathroom
The newly fitted bathroom features waterfall taps, a heated towel rail and a full sized bath with powerful dual level shower heads above.
Patio Area
The sunny patio is a lovely area to enjoy a drink, chill out or watch the sun go down.
It is fully enclosed and provides a safe area for children or pets to stretch their legs and play. There is also a lockable store for bikes, fishing gear or any other things that you may wish to store whilst staying at the cottage.
Bedroom 1
Located at the front of the property, this double aspect room features a king sized bed, and quality Jacquard bedding, giving it a light, oppulent feel.
Sit and enjoy a drink or read a book whilst looking over the trees in the lounge chair.
Bedroom 2
This king sized bedroom is on the ground floor and perfect for anyone that is less mobile or finds stairs difficult. The luxury grey bedding contrasting with black and silver furniture gives it a modern twist.
Bedroom 3
Slightly smaller than the other two bedrooms, this double room is sunny and bright. The solid wood furniture and full length mirror is complemented with V&A bedding.

There is off road parking for one car as well as on street parking on the lane in front of the house.

USB charging capability is available for personal electronic devices (via plug sockets) in all rooms
Pets
Up to two well behaved dogs (over the age of 1) are welcome but are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms. There is a charge of £20 per dog per stay.
Washer & Dryer
A washing machine and tumble drier are avaiable for guest use as well as an iron and ironing board.
Coffee Maker
The kitchen includes a Nescafe dolce gusto coffee machine.

Built in oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer. washing machine, tumble drier, hoover and iron

What is included
Use of bed linen, bath/hand/tea towels and bath mats. Guests must bring beach/swimming towels.

Lovely cottage – great location
“This is a lovely, very well equipped cottage. The facilities are pristine along with beautifully soft towels (and plenty of them) and lovely bed linen. The owners have thought of everything down to dishwasher and laundry tablets! Located in the heart of the New Forest it’s ideal for walks in the forest, visits to nearby villages and towns and trips to the coast.”

Newly decorated, comfortable and all the useful amenities
Apple Cottage has been beautifully refurbished. It’s pretty and very comfortable and we had a wonderful stay here. The cottage has all the utilities you need to feed the family and wash their muddy clothes after New Forest walks. It was perfect for us and is close enough to the high street for a cheeky takeaway too. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect weekend getaway
A wonderful cottage with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break in the new forest. On a quiet road with off street parking just a few minutes walk from Lyndhurst highstreet. The owners have thought of everything from books and games to local information guides and parking permits. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well looked after. We have visited Lyndhurst numerous times and now we can’t wait to book Apple cottage again, we won’t be staying anywhere else!

Perfect dog friendly base for discovering the New Forest and coast.
Lovely well equipped dog friendly cottage in the perfect spot for discovering the New Forest and nearby coast. Walking distance to the village centre, several pubs and resteraunts (Waterloo arms and Enzee of particular note). The owners have thought of everything required for a comfortable and relaxing stay and fast responding to any questions you have.
Wonderful accommodation own a great location.
This is a gorgeous cottage that has been recently refurbished to a high standard. It is situated in a quiet road with beautiful walks on the doorstep and only a short walk into the town centre of Lyndhurst. It had all the amenities we needed with comfortable beds and a great shower! Julie was really helpful before our stay and there is plenty of information at the cottage of places to visit and New Forest walks to name but a couple. We were impressed by the Car Park clock which gave us free parking in many of the places we visited and the Go card which gave us discounts at a few eateries too. You won’t be disappointed – we’ll be back
